Bajaj Auto may shift the production of KTM bikes from its home market, Austria, to India, Moneycontrol reported. The move comes as part of three-pronged turnaround plan for the struggling European bike manufacturer, and it plans to invest around ₹8,200-crore into this revival effort. The process requires nine approvals from different European commissions, of which eight have already been secured.
