The Constitution Reform Commission in Bangladesh has proposed to drop the terms 'secularism', 'socialism' and 'nationalism' from the constitution. The commission has also proposed the formation of a bicameral parliament, with a lower house named National Assembly and an upper house named Senate and suggested that both houses have a term of four years, instead of the existing five-year term.
