IIT Delhi researchers have developed smart mosquito-repellent detergents to protect against dangerous mosquito-borne diseases like malaria and dengue. Clothes washed with these detergents will make them less attractive for mosquito landing, reducing the risk of mosquito bites. The detergents are available in both powder and liquid forms and work on the smell and taste sensors of the mosquitoes.
