Lusail International Circuit, which hosts Qatar GP, is 5.419 km long with 16 medium- and high-speed turns and a main straight over 1 km. Originally constructed for MotoGP in 2004, the circuit held its first F1 race in 2021. It has artificial grass to keep sand away and features permanent outdoor lighting to facilitate night races.
