US government shutdown, which came into effect on October 1, has crossed the one-month mark. This has become the second longest US government shutdown after the shutdown in 2018-19, which ran for 35 days. When asked about the shutdown, which has furloughed nearly 7,00,000 federal workers, US President Donald Trump blamed Democrats and said, "Everything is their fault."
