The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) slammed US Vice-President JD Vance over his remarks on converting his Hindu wife Usha to Christianity. "If your wife encouraged you to re-engage with your faith, why not reciprocate that and engage with Hinduism too?" HAF said on X. "Hinduism is inherently inclusive and pluralistic...We do not seek to convert anyone," it added.
