Kerala BJP leaders have distanced themselves from Union Minister Suresh Gopi’s demand to set up AIIMS in Alappuzha. BJP state General Secretary MT Ramesh called it Gopi's personal opinion, adding that the Centre will decide the location. Notably, the Kerala government has proposed the facility in Kozhikode. "I've said what I had to say. I've only one stand," Gopi responded.
