IMD has issued an alert for Andaman and Nicobar Islands amid a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to intensify into Cyclone Senyar from November 21. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into sea near North Andaman Sea due to likely high waves until November 23. 'Senyar' was named by UAE and it means 'lion'.
