Director Prasanth Varma denied allegations made by Tollywood producers that claimed he took ₹20 crore in advances and failed to deliver films. He wrote, "The dispute...is under consideration...Any attempt to publish internal [documents]...is clearly intended to prejudice public opinion." He added, "I categorically state that allegations made against me are all false, baseless and retaliatory."
