Late actress Pratyusha Banerjee's ex-boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh claimed that actress Kamya Panjabi started the narrative that he murdered Pratyusha and tried to pass it off as suicide. Rahul alleged that Pratyusha had lent ₹2.5 lakh to Kamya but the latter never repaid it. He added that Kamya pushed Pratyusha into drinking, adding, "I always wanted her to stop drinking."
