The AIM-120 advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles that Pakistan will receive from US are compatible with F-15, F-16 and F-22 fighter jets, among others. The missiles use a combination of inertial guidance, midcourse updates, and an on-board active radar to find the intended target and complete the intercept. The missiles can quickly find targets in the most challenging environments.
