Bank of America Securities has initiated coverage of the Adani Group, assigning 'Overweight' ratings to several of its US dollar bonds. It said Adani's operations remain "sound" across its ports, utilities and renewable energy sectors, with structural protections. This comes a year after US prosecutors indicted Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and seven others on bribery and fraud charges.
