Several current and ex-employees of B9 Beverages Ltd, Bira 91's parent, wrote to government departments seeking intervention against management violations, reported Moneycontrol. It includes non-payment of salaries, unremitted TDS worth ₹50 crore and default on PF/gratuity dues. They urged "immediate investigation" and freezing personal assets of directors to secure employee and government dues.
