Two 11-year-old boys faked their own kidnapping in Karnataka's Chitradurga to escape punishment for not completing their school homework. The boys who came to their home without schoolbags claimed that they were abducted by three kidnappers in a van and later let go. Following this, police launched a probe into the matter and found several contradictions in the boys' stories.
