AAP MP Raghav Chadha recently raised issues of high airfare, overcrowding of airports and "superexpensive" food at Indian airports. "The government promised hawai chappal (slippers) wearing common man will travel in hawai jahaj (aeroplane)," said Chadha in Rajya Sabha. "But common man is charged ₹350 for a samosa, ₹250 for tea and ₹100 for water bottle at airports," he added.
