India on Monday denied that it attacked Pakistan's Kirana Hills, which is alleged to house the latter's nuclear warheads. In his 2017 article in ThePrint, Colonel (Retired) Vinayak Bhat claimed Kirana Hills is a heavily fortified military site with underground tunnels. The facility was first noticed by US satellites when Pakistan was preparing nuclear tests between 1983-1990, he stated.
