Dr Manmohan Singh's ashes were immersed in the Yamuna River near Majnu Ka Tilla Gurudwara during the 'Asthi Visarjan' ceremony on Sunday. The rituals took place at Yamuna Ghat, following full state honours for the former Prime Minister's last rites at Nigam Bodh Ghat a day earlier. Dr Singh, aged 92, passed away on Thursday night due to age-related illness.
