Days after Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said the Indian diaspora in US has been "so silent" on US President Donald Trump's tariffs and H-1B visa decisions, Indian-American activist-leader Suhag Shukla has hit back. "Americans do not exist to serve as proxies for the Government of India. We exist as Americans," said Shukla. Tharoor's remarks 'misrepresented' the diaspora, she added.
