India all-rounder Abhishek Sharma's father Raj Kumar Sharma has credited former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh for shaping his son's career. "Yuvraj has taught him how to walk. He has always looked after his training. He has called him to Mohali, Chandigarh, Gurugram, or Mumbai, wherever he was," he added. "Yuvraj has helped Abhishek grow as a person too," Raj Kumar stated.
