As China increased tariffs on American goods to 125% on Friday, it clarified it would not retaliate against any further hikes in tariffs by US President Donald Trump. "If the US continues to impose additional tariffs on Chinese goods...China will ignore it," said China's Finance Ministry. US' effective tariffs on Chinese goods currently stand at 145%.
