The CPI(M)-led Kerala government has frozen all procedures related to the implementation of the PM SHRI schools scheme, CM Pinarayi Vijayan asserted. This move came after CPI, a key ally in the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF), strongly opposed the government's MoU with the Centre. A seven-member cabinet sub-committee has been constituted to examine the matter in detail, CM said.
