Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) Mumbai bench ruled in favour of actress Preity Zinta after she challenged a tax notice that added around ₹10 crore to her income for 2016, Economic Times reported. The department had flagged ₹13-crore credit and debit transactions in her account, which Preity claimed were loan repayments. The tribunal observed that Preity proved loans' genuineness.
