A special court in UP sentenced senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam Khan to seven years of imprisonment in a forgery case involving two PAN cards. It was alleged that Abdullah, acting in conspiracy with his father, furnished fabricated information to conceal his age-related disqualification for contesting polls in 2017.
