Japanese paper-cut artist Masayo San has accused Indian artist Vikas Tomar of copying her 2020 tiger illustration and presenting it as 3D artwork to India’s Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav. "This work is a part of the work I made, which was...copied by an Indian cut-out artist without permission...Is it okay to silently condone such a thing?" she posted on X.
