Rohit Arya, who was shot dead by police after taking 17 children hostage in Mumbai, worked at RA Studio and ran a YouTube channel. Originally from Pune, he had secured school project tender linked to education department under then minister Deepak Kesarkar. He had also started Swacchta Monitor concept in Maharashtra in 2023. Police claimed that he appeared mentally unstable.
