Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar opined that Jasprit Bumrah should be rested against Oman and perhaps even in the Super 4 match against Pakistan so that he can play Asia Cup 2025 final. He suggested that Suryakumar Yadav could move down the batting order in the match against Oman, giving Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson more opportunities with the bat.
