Denmark PM Mette Frederiksen on Wednesday said she had spoken with US President-elect Donald Trump on the phone and told him that it's up to Greenland itself to decide on independence. In the conversation, Frederiksen cited Greenland PM Mute Egede's remark that Greenland isn't for sale, her office stated. Trump earlier said US control of Greenland was an "absolute necessity".
