Ahead of Diwali, Delhi authorities have issued 103 temporary licenses for the retail sale of NEERI-approved green firecrackers at designated locations, officials said. A total of 159 applications were submitted for temporary licenses, with the remaining still under process. Officials added that only green firecrackers with QR codes will be permitted from October 18 to 20 during specified hours.
