The coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh are witnessing rain and strong winds as Cyclone Montha entered the state. The cyclone is expected to cross the Andhra Pradesh coast between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam around Kakinada during Tuesday evening or night as a severe cyclonic storm. Flight operations to and fro Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry are affected as heavy rains are expected.
