Tamil Nadu government on Monday revoked the licence issued to Sresan Pharmaceuticals for manufacturing Coldrif cough syrup, which is linked to the deaths of 24 children. "The license to manufacture has been entirely cancelled and the firm has been closed down," said the state's health department. The regulators found over 300 critical and major violations at Sresan's manufacturing unit.
