The Annual Ground Water Quality Report 2025 revealed that 13 to 15% of total collected water samples in Delhi have uranium contamination. Of 84 total samples analysed, 24 of them were found to exceed uranium parameters. Drinking water in 86 monitored areas of Delhi was found to be unsafe as per Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) norms, PTI reported.
