Swiggy has shut down its hyperlocal delivery arm Genie to focus more on its food and grocery delivery services, Moneycontrol reported. The revenue from Genie was not encouraging enough to continue its service. The decision follows Swiggy's previous announcement of working towards bringing back Genie after it was temporarily suspended in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru earlier this week.
