The Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to meet with the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on January 17 in Moscow to discuss a "comprehensive strategic partnership". The meeting aims to address trade, transport logistics and regional and international issues. Iran is believed to want high-tech arms from Russia based on the agreement which helped develop the pact.
