Filmmaker Ravi K Chandran spoke about his admiration for late actress Sridevi. He recalled, "When we were in college, I stole cut-out of Sridevi...from a theatre and brought it to my room, which became the 'Sridevi room'." He spoke about meeting Sridevi for the first time, and said, "My heart stopped, my screen idol was sitting next to me!"
