The US Treasury Department on Thursday imposed sanctions on multiple firms and individuals, including an Indian company and an Indian national, for working in a network to facilitate the shipment of Iranian oil to China. The US said the network included nodes in India and carried millions of barrels of oil to China. It also sanctioned several companies in China.
