On being questioned about temporary tariffs reprieve on some products, US President Donald Trump said, "I'm looking at something to help some of the car companies with it." Noting that carmakers are reallocating production from Canada, Mexico, etc to the US, he added, "They need a little bit of time." Trump had earlier announced a 25% tariff on foreign-made cars.
