Shares of HDFC Bank jumped around 4% on Monday to hit an intra-day high of ₹1,748.2. This comes after its board approved subsidiary HDB Financial Services' (HDBFS) plan to launch an IPO to raise ₹12,500 crore. The proposed IPO may see HDFC Bank selling its stake worth ₹10,000 crore in HDB Financial Services.
