Pak PM Shehbaz Sharif said he instructed the cabinet to withdraw an amendment that granted immunity to the Prime Minister. This comes even as Pakistan amended the Constitution and gave new powers to army chief Asim Munir. "An elected Prime Minister must remain fully accountable, both before the court of law and the people," Sharif wrote on X.
