A vast 'interstellar tunnel', a channel of superheated gas that appears to connect our solar system with distant star-forming regions across Milky Way has been found. Using eROSITA X-ray telescope data, they mapped Local Hot Bubble, a 300 light-year-wide region of hot plasma created by multiple supernovae. Findings showed a corridor of glowing gas stretching outward toward Centaurus constellation.
