A case of HMPV has been reported in a six-month-old baby in Mumbai, News 24 reported on Wednesday. The baby was admitted to the hospital on January 1 due to severe cough, chest tightness, and a drop in oxygen levels and was discharged from the hospital after five days. Doctors reportedly confirmed the virus through a new rapid PCR test.
