Air India is in advanced talks with Adani Airports to establish Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) as its global hub. With Mumbai's existing airport at capacity, NMIA, slated to begin operations in November 2025, will support international expansion. Designed for hub operations, NMIA aims to be India's next major global gateway, boosting connectivity, passenger traffic, and cargo handling.
