Erected on the foundation of spirituality, Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha is a social-spiritual Hindu devotion. Commonly known as BAPS, the organisation's roots can be traced back to the Vedas. While it was brought into light in the late 18th century by Bhagwan Swaminarayan, 1781-1830, it was established by Shastriji Maharaj in 1907.
