Singer Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife Amarjot were shot dead by masked men in Punjab in 1988. Chamkila's former secretary Manku has revealed that the killers were dancing 'bhangra' as they shot him. He added that they also left a letter on Chamkila's chest, adding that, "I saw that letter later, I read it. It was drenched in blood."
