Naxal-hit Kerlapenda village in Sukma districts of Chhattisgarh, voted for the first time since Independence during the third phase of Panchayat polls. "Voting is taking place after 75 years here...This is the first time we got a chance to raise our demands," a resident said. The first and second phases of panchayat polls were held on February 17 and 20.
