Delhi Transport Minister Pankaj Singh confirmed that the government is examining the feasibility of operating double-decker buses, which were discontinued in 1989. One such electric bus was delivered to the Okhla depot by Ashok Leyland, according to HT. The officials are reportedly surveying tree canopies and bridge heights to ensure the top deck of the 4.75-metre-tall bus is not obstructed.
