Former TMC leader and West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee was released on bail on Tuesday, over 3 years after his arrest in an alleged school recruitment scam. He, along with two others, was accused of orchestrating the illegal appointment of unqualified candidates to various positions. Chatterjee had spent the last 203 days admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata.
