A video has surfaced showing a gang of 12 men using three SUVs to corner a car on a highway in Kerala's Thrissur before kidnapping two people and looting 2.5 kg gold. An FIR filed in the case said the two kidnapped men, Arun Sunny and Rojy Thomas, were beaten and ₹1.84-crore jewellery was looted. The victims were later released.
