The head of Israel's internal security service, Ronen Bar, announced his resignation on Monday and would step down on June 15. His resignation comes amid tensions with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu who moved to fire Bar in March as he said he'd lost confidence in Bar following October 7 attack. Supreme Court had temporarily frozen the bid to sack Bar.
