Brothers Kuriachan and Ouseppachan use Idukki's single-origin cocoa beans to make couverture chocolates under the Rakkaudella brand. They started in 2021 and have scaled monthly production from 20 kg to 3500 kg. Selling the chocolates in India and Europe at ₹1,500 per kg, Rakkaudella clocks ₹52 lakh turnover monthly and empowers local farmers by giving them higher-than-market rates.
