The Kerala High Court on Monday ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to examine the Sabarimala gold-plating row, asking for the investigation report to be submitted within a month. This comes after the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) Vigilance team presented an interim report. The case refers to missing gold from idols donated by Vijay Mallya in 1998.
