Anil Kumar, a 50 year old man from Kerala, has accused Kulathupuzha Police in Kollam district of attempting to pull out his teeth using a pair of pliers during custodial torture. Anil claimed his three teeth were removed surgically at a hospital after he lost consciousness. Police denied the claim, stating he was released on bail the same day.
